Peyrenègre is in the small village of Labretonie, tucked away in the Aquitaine region of South West of France between Bordeaux and Toulouse. It is in the department of the Lot-et-Garonne (named after the two rivers that flow through it) and the nearest main town is Marmande .

The other route to consider if you are bringing your own car is by tunnel to Calais with Eurotunnel.

By Train + Hire Car

Take a Eurostar train to either Paris or Lille (if travelling via Paris, change from Gare du Nord to Gare Montparnasse — an easy metro journey), then the TGV to Bordeaux, with connections to Marmande.

From Bordeaux, you can either hire a car directly from the station (Europcar Bordeaux Gare Saint-Jean is located in Hall 3 Belcier) or continue by train to Marmande, our nearest station.

This is a delightful way to travel through France. If you book well ahead, you may find first class fares affordable (a little treat to start the holiday!).

Europcar is situated directly opposite the station at Marmande for your holiday car rental.
